Hi, I’m Sarah!

I am a Minnesota-based artist working in watercolor, gouache, pastel, colored pencil, monoprint and acrylic. My work is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and rediscover the beauty in everyday moments and in nature.

I studied Studio Art and Landscape Architecture, and I think about every piece as both a place and a story. One of my favorite places to be is outside under a tree with my sketchbook, taking in the sounds of the birds, the way the light filters through the trees, and the textures of the plants around me. I love imagining how these landscapes could become part of a story, real or imagined.

I work on commissions, murals, and illustration projects, and original prints are available in my Etsy shop. Some of my clients have included: the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, the University of Minnesota Master Gardeners, Seward Childcare Center, Jennifer Davis Yoga, as well as collectors across the country.
