Botanical Monoprints

This body of work includes monoprints created using a Gelli plate. A monoprint is a type of print that can only be made once, making each print a unique piece. A Gelli plate is a flexible gel-like plate onto which an image can be made using water-based materials. Several of the prints below are hand-worked prints, meaning they have been drawn or painted on after the print was pulled.
