Botanical Monoprints

These monoprints were created using a Gelli plate, a flexible gel-like plate onto which an image can be made using water-based materials. A monoprint is a type of print that can only be made once, making each print a unique piece. In addition, several of the pieces below are hand-worked prints, meaning they have been drawn or painted on after the print was pulled.
